Modern Slavery Statement of IFS

What is modern slavery?

Modern slavery is an umbrella term for all forms of slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the Act) combats modern slavery in the UK and consolidates previous offences relating to trafficking and slavery.

Its impact on society

Having family and friends involved in the fight for anti-trafficking, International Freight Solutions Ltd, have made it our business to take responsibility and be aware of the government’s position on Modern Day Slavery:

The aim of the Modern Slavery Act is to ensure that large businesses (businesses with an annual turnover of more than £36 million) monitor and control their operations and supply chains and keep them free from human trafficking and slavery.
