Meet the Team at International Freight Solutions (IFS)

Cath has nearly 30 years’ experience in the international freight industry. She very much enjoys the variety of projects which she manages for customers.

For example, one day she could be sorting out an urgent ‘same day’ delivery of a long tube from Yorkshire to the North East – The next she is responsible for an ‘Out of Gauge’ export consignment from UK to Egypt via Road and Sea Freight.

Catherine Gibson, Branch  Manager, Bradford – International Freight Solutions Ltd

John has had a lengthy career in all aspects of freight forwarding since the early 70’s. His career in freight forwarding began 2 years earlier, whilst working in Chesterfield as a sales clerk for an engineering company. Duties in the sales department included arranging shipping of overseas orders by sea freight predominantly. John always felt that the experience gained working in industry was the grounding needed for his next employment involved with freight forwarding.

John Collumbine, International Freight Consultant – International Freight Solutions Ltd

Adam began working in transportation through an apprenticeship scheme upon leaving school and has racked up more than 20 years knowledge and experience in the industry. After working alongside Paul Johnson for a couple of years in the International department at Courier Logistics, Adam joined the new start-up business of International Freight Solutions Ltd back in June 2016.

A typical day for Adam will generally involve helping customers with new shipping enquiries or assisting with current ‘in transit’ orders. He especially enjoys the challenge of getting an enquiry about a far flung country he has never heard of before! Find out more >

Jamie began life at IFS in 2022 after being offered a place as an International Freight Consultant. He brings enthusiasm along with outstanding IT skills and general knowledge and has become an integral part of the IFS team.

Born in Oxford and raised in the Cotswolds, Neil Braddish began his career working for a tour operator in the Balearic Islands, where he spent several years developing his passion for travel and customer service.

With more than 38 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, Neil has combined his love of global travel and diverse cultures with his expertise in building strong client relationships. Joining the team at IFS has enabled him to bring together his passion for travel with his commitment to delivering outstanding sales and marketing solutions.

Neil works collaboratively with a wide range of clients, always striving to exceed expectations by educating, inspiring, and motivating others through tailored solutions delivered with vision, integrity, and confidence. Find out more about Neil >

Neil Braddish, Sales and Marketing Manager – International Freight Solutions Ltd

Charlie has been working in the freight industry for the past five years, primarily focusing on FCL export pricing, where he has developed strong experience in managing quotations and supporting customers with tailored logistics solutions.

He is now looking to broaden his knowledge across the other modes and continue developing within the wider freight forwarding industry. Charlie is commercially minded and has a good understanding of customer needs, and enjoys handling the process from the initial quote stages right through to the final delivery being completed.

Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors on an adventurous hike around the Peak District, Lake District or just about anywhere else for that matter. His main passion, however, has and always will be football – both playing and watching. More specifically following Arsenal – whether that be going to the games or passionately willing them on through the TV.

I joined Courier Logistics in 2007 as customer service manager and managed a team of customer service agents until 2017 when I joined International Freight Solutions. It’s a great company to work for and the days are never dull, we are dealing with different destinations around the world and learning lots of interesting information along the way. Ingrid Kirkby, International Freight Consultant – International Freight Solutions Ltd

As a creative, Andrew has spent over three decades working in the design sector specialising in digital design and marketing. He has worked with Paul since 2016, designing and implementing the IFS brand and being responsible for the design / development of the website, creating digital content and other creative digital media.

In 2021 Andrew was given the opportunity to join the IFS team to further develop the company’s digital marketing, as well as help out with the Freight consultancy services.
