Freight Packing Services

IFS Freight Packing ServiceFully trained and experienced staff use a variety of modern techniques to provide fit-for-purpose solutions, ensuring zero damages and preservation of the product.

Export packing services include: standard & customised specifications for pallets, bespoke wooden case & crate makers, Container / Flat-rack loading and unloading, onsite packing.

Pallets – Standard & customised

We manufacture new wooden pallets to a high standard and to a variety of specifications. All timber is sourced from managed, sustainable woodlands at competitive rates. Stocks levels are monitored and we ensure any cost savings are passed on to our customers.

Bespoke wooden cases & crates

Our packing cases are solid on all sides to ensure the contents are surrounded by timber cladding and are fully secure. Our packing crates have slatted sides and top and solid base, leaving the contents fully visible. Most suitable for facilitating customs inspections, reducing the need for repackaging after a thorough investigation!

Container / Flat-rack loading and unloading

Our team can load, secure and unload equipment into 20’ and 40’ containers, on site or at our works. They can also load oversized equipment to both 20’ or 40’ flat-racks, using a variety for forklift trucks.

Onsite packing

A dedicated team are available to measure for the packing on site of bespoke cases, pallets or crates to the customers needs at any size or weight. They are also available with a fleet of vehicles to collect goods and deliver cases, pallets and crates.

Freight Containers

For customers that require a container, we can also provide competitive rates for full container or a part load freight service via Road, Air or sea.
