Logistics expert says ‘Norway Plus’ is least damaging form of Brexit for UK’s EU traders
A leading logistics expert has said the so-called “Norway Plus” option is the least damaging practical form of Brexit for the UK’s companies trading with EU countries.
Adam Johnson, director of Leeds-based Tudor International Freight, said the draft withdrawal agreement and political declaration agreed by Prime Minister Theresa May and the EU Commission seemed almost certain to be rejected by the House of Commons next week. Equally, it appeared there was no majority in Parliament for the UK leaving the bloc without a deal next March, the default option under the Article 50 withdrawal process. Read more >

The new and updated UK schedule has caused some objections with WTO members and so International Trade Secretary, Dr Liam Fox, has written to the Telegraph to provide some clarification. Dr Fox has made it clear that in the unlikely scenario that no Brexit deal is reached the UK should be able to take full control of our trade policy in March 2019.
